Since I don't have the hand history from this hand, it's going to be somewhat based on memory so some of the details may be vague. I don't have any reads on this opponent.

.5/.10 NL Hold Em' (Full 9 max table)
<font color="red">
Hero (SB) is dealt KK (I have about $10, the maximum buyin)
UTG raises to .20
</font>
There are about five callers behind him.
<font color="red">
Hero raises to .80
BB calls .80
</font>
The five who called the first raise also call.
Flop: J /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 7 /images/graemlins/club.gif 3 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif
<font color="red">
Hero bets $2.50 (about half the pot)
BB calls $2.50 (BB only had about $4.50 before the hand)
</font>

All other players fold
Turn: 2 /images/graemlins/spade.gif
<font color="red">
Hero moves all in
BB calls all in for his remaining $2.00
</font>
River: 4 /images/graemlins/spade.gif

Results in white below:
<font color="white">
Hero (SB) shows KK, a pair of Kings.
BB shows JJ, a set of Jacks.
BB collects pot.
</font>

How's my play? Should I have raised more pre-flop or slowed down on the flop?

If they'll call more, raise more! Otherwise you played it fine - I'd probably bet the full pot on the flop tho.

when villain is that short, you can't worry about sets.

If you were both deeper, you don't want to lose your whole stack to sets.
