Until recently, I would receive my three new dvd's within two or three days of returning the last three.

Then I returned three on 5/18 and received two of my three selections on 6/6. I still haven't received the third selection.

I live in Worcester, MA, and the return address on the Netflix mailers is in Worcester, as well.

Anyone else seeing problems with their Netflix?

edit: I should add that the Netflix website showed that I should have received these latest selections on 5/20

I've been getting mine like three days from when I mail the old ones.

Mine come usually every 2 days.

now you tell me - I just signed up - though I heard Minneapolis is fast.

I was too ashamed to go get Sex in the City at my local store - so now it arrives in an envelope like porn /images/graemlins/grin.gif

(ok - that's partially true - but they're way down in the queue - Kurosawa films and some cult classics are first) -

I thought Netflix had been very slow over the past month. That changed this week. I received the replacement today for a DVD I mailed in on Monday. I'm due to receive another disc tomorrow in exchange for one I returned Tuesday. That's as quick of a turnaround as I've had in five months.

I get two-day turnaround since they added the Vegas drop. Sweet.

Definitely slower for me here in L.A.

I used to drop them in the mail Saturday afternoon and have new ones here on Tuesday or Wednesday, and drop them in on Wednesday and have new ones by Friday or Saturday. About a three-day turnaround.

Lately, I'm getting lots of their messages saying they've received my returned DVD, but without the pretty much instant feedback I used to get along with it of "your next DVD by the name of such and such is being shipped." The message saying they mailed out my new DVD(s) comes a day later, and it's taking me five days now to get movies.

They did just take down their system around two weeks ago, a message said when I went to go look at their site, and maybe they're having trouble or something. Or maybe the system's just slower...or they're firing people to cut costs because of the increased competition from Walmart, and actually shooting themselves in the foot by degrading their service in the face of competition. I dunno. I hope it picks up again. I don't like the new turn-around time I'm getting much at all.
