Yuck, I'd lay it down...begrudgingly. But my postflop play is awful right now, so take this with a grain of salt.

Does anyone check/call a river bet here?

Before having read the hand: probably

After having read 'Party 22': almost certainly

After getting all the way to the turn: bet more

River: Yep, call (yes, check/call)

And my first guess is that you are splitting the pot.

I'd call.

If he had 2 pair before the river, I'd expect him to have re-raised the turn to get people off the flush draw.

My second would be that you won, but I was just thinking, it is a post, so there may be a better chance you lost.

I tend to hesitate to reply to posts like this because I play at Stars. However, I decided if I don't post and get shot down, how will I improve? So, for what it's worth, I'm calling this. I think I'll see a set of 7s and double up. Possibly 2 pair...but this seems more like second pair calling down and hoping you're on a bluff, then catching the third one. And I don't think your opponent is crediting you for the straight with the $75 turn bet.

IMO, (over the many times ur in this situation) you probably are tied on this hand. Next most likely scenario, villain has trips. Least likely scenario, you're beat (by higher str8 or boat).

I like your attitude. I've been posting replies like crazy and have answered about 80% of them wrong. Hmm, I don't seem to be learning either. On second thought, I don't like your attitude.
