Why did you check the turn?
Lead out on the turn, half the pot to a full pot is good.
Oh and I personally don't like raising AQ out of position in levels 1-3 pre-flop.

This line seems pretty weak/tight. Why did you check the turn?

And if you are going to raise pre-flop (which I still disagree with) then raise to 100 or more.
So sue me, I vary up my play. Some times I check some times I raise. This happens to be one time where I raised, let it go.

I guess I just won't respond to any of his posts anymore, then.
If you are going to slam me for critiquing your play, 11t, then don't expect any help from now on.
I'm sorry if I sounded offensive I was just getting perturbed by the fact that your post simply pointed out my preflop raise. I agree, raising preflop out of position with AQ isn't the strongest move and I don't do it that much.
I remember a hand like this that I posted a while back where I checked and hit my ace and lost to a set and several people told me "raise preflop!" and again, sometimes Ill raise with AK/Q out of the BB vs a limper and sometimes I won't.
I do apologize if I sounded like an a##hole but I was more curious about the rest of the hand.

I responded about the rest of the hand too, if you had read my post.

???
I assumed he had an ace since he called my flop bet, and I figured my kicker was good but his cold call scared me. I figured that he could have 2 pair or a set and I would rather check and be prepared to call the turn and river since again he most likely had a worse ace and I figured I'd get more out of it by him bluffing off his chips with his weak kicker and if he had me beat so be it.
Anyways he had AK
