Difs. between high low and hi only tourney strategy?

I can't get around the notion that there should be some fundamental differences in how one approaches a high/low split tourney (be it omaha or holdem), particularly on the bubble and (probably in different ways) at the final table. But I can't articulate them especially well. Does anyone have any thoughts to share?

I'm trying to rescue my poor question from a flood of tips on tipping. Jebus, *I* think it's an interesting question with potentially important implications (though my poor pea brain is unable to enunciate any at the moment)...doesn't anybody else?
