Comcast is like $50,000,000 a month. It's been going down on me a lot lately (I'll try and stick it in it's pooper), too. It crapped out when I was on the bubble of some SNG on Stars. I bubbled. Someone list the major differences and pros/cons between DSL and Cable.

$15/mo for the slower DSL.
$25/mo for the faster DSL.

You must agree to a 1 year contract.

These prices only apply to new signups done online.

The cheapest I was able to get a phoneline is for $5.50/mo. This is a metered connection, I'm only allowed to make 20 calls/mo, after that, each one is a charge. If you have crappy credit you will have to pay $50 upfront for the phoneline.

If you have crappy credit you will have to pay an additional $200 upfront for the DSL service. Also, you won't be able to sign up online, because their online system has no provisions for customers with crappy credit. Because you can't sign up online, you won't get the awesome prices. However, it's still cheaper than Comcast.

I pay 12 $ including all taxes for a 2Mbit flat in Germany. Connection speed is excellent.

I'm paying 35/mo for "up to 50 times faster than a 28.8 kbps dial-up" .. whatever that is. No contract needed though

A lot of companies are starting to offer "naked DSL" where you don't need active phone service.
