Definitely bet the turn, you are ahead a large amount of time and need to protect your hand/get value by betting. Seeing that you checked, you should call the river against a typical player. I don't think you should isolate with a hand like 78s if you're not gonna bet the turn in this type of situation.

Wow, don't like it. There are lots of straight draws that will call this flop and they probably also have two overcards against your hand, so it's a coup if you can get them to fold, which gutshots etc will pretty frequently. FWIW, I think I also call the river if I've played it this way. If you're going to make this sort of preflop play you have to follow through.
