flop ad 2d 5d,

i check, 2 checkers, someone bets pot (800)

All in. Someone betting the pot is more likely protecting a pair of aces than betting a made flush. And if you are up against a flush, you've got the redraw. This only sucks if you're up against a higher set, but I'd take my chances there.

Hmmmm, again. You have shorted us all of the relevant information. Other stacks? Reads? What position were limpers in?

"Someone" bets pot? Presumably this was the last to act guy unless some random person sat down and threw in some chips.

I push, expecting to get drawn out on by the A high flush on the expectation that a made flush makes checks this or makes a 1/2 pot bet at most.

yeah, i'd push. you're going to kick yourself if you call and the turn is a diamond and you don't stack Ax.
