This is our home SnG and we just got newer poker chips, and wanted to play with 10k in chips, just to have fun. Everyone is about even in chips at this point.

I hate playing out of position so I just make a nice big raise and let them decide. Make it 2500 or so.

Hero says "damn now I wish I had raised preflop or bet big on the turn. Well this sucks, I will know better next time".

And then you check/call small bets the turn and river unless you fill up.

Now if i would have riase preflop, i think i might have gotten him out preflop correct? But after the hand was over, he said anyway he/I played it, he was going out that hand...
i dunno, any comments on the hand overall?
