What kicker do you call this with if you fold this?

I think the K is very helpful. You know one opp is on the K, not sure about the other. If other has Q,9 or Q,10 you still have a lot of outs to push plus you have some almost dead money in the pot from the opponent with the K. I might push it.

i have done both... pushed and fold. i have found that i get more pissed when someone shows me junk, than when someone beats me. it's a 22 so let the chips fall where they may and push it. moneymaker did against ivy and sucked out. how bad was that beat?

Button calling makes this a fold for me. If they end up having kings, it hurts less than if you called and one had a Q.

[/ QUOTE ]In a 22...eh, probably an 8 or a 9. In a 109 it'd be QT or better, maybe QJ.

My thought would be that overbet is at least as likely to represent dumb attempt to buy pot with king or maybe even JJ or TT, as it is to represent a Q, especially since it's unlikely to represent Q with bad kicker, since bettor isn't in the blinds. Should the fact that you're just barely covered by villain here and are basically tied for big stack make you want to fold or push more?

After the button calls, this would be an easy fold fo me. If I was very low on chips, that would be another story. I think that more often than not, button has you beat and CO has a K. I just don't see you being ahead here enough to get involved.

I look at it like this too: If there is a pretty good chance that I'm drawing very thin (and here I think there is after the bet and the call w/o a flush draw), why jeopardize my position. In my games at the 11s, if I'm sitting there in level 2 with 1300 chips, most times I'm going to be ITM anyway. Why make it so easy for some donkey with QT to double up? You'll get him later...

Keep in mind that your 2 probably isn't going to factor into the hand at all.

You currently have QQQK2. There are two cards to come. Even if you are outkicked, you stand a chance of chopping.

I'm getting all my chips in the middle.

You're not going to chop very often if your opponent has AQ, KQ, QJ or QT.
