Absolute N00B to playing Omaha, my background is in LHE- what would be the best books for me to read to get a better grasp of this game?

Thanks

I think Winning O/8 by Krieger & Tenner is a good book for beginners.

I've been thinking of picking up other games to diversify my NLHE sng play. Do people have opinions on whether Zee or Krieger/Tenner is more beginner friendly? Is one more so but just totally inferior to the other book? Are there other good introduction texts? I would like to avoid picking up a book that gets too heavy at the outset and loses me.

Of course, I will hit up the forum. /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Krieger books are more suited for beginners. Zee's book is for Intermediate/Advanced players.

The only book that was worth reading was Ray Zee's High-Low split poker book in my experience.

I think there is some useful stuff in the Omaha 8 section of SS2.

But for a full book, I would start with Krieger & Tenner and then move to Zee's book.

im still pretty new to omaha and am 3/4 through Zee's book, I dont find it too daunting and is very helpful... if you already understand how to play and know basic outcounting/etc, I dont think youd have a problem jumping right on this book (and get it at half.com and save 10$)
