I'll admit that a guilty pleasure of mine was watching his unplugged set because it reminded of the few hardcore (yes he was a hardcore kids) who get successful. (walter shreiffels, daryl palumbo...ummm; it might end there) I felt for it as an ex-frontman myself.

But his songs are really lame.

I honestly didn't know they were a girly band and/or that well known. I was just making a suggestion that perhaps people would like them, and when it didn't go that way, I went with the flow of things.

Right after he left Further, they played a concert in Atlanta at Under the Couch, which happens to be on Tech campus, but is rarely used for concerts anymore. I guess that, for some reason or another, the school didn't like that everyone at the shows wasn't from Tech. Whatever though, they're starting to have concerts again. I saw Brandston and Cartel a few weeks ago and it was awesome.

Anyway, Further is playing at UTC, and so is Dashboard. Further already has Jason Gleason as a singer now, but Chris came out and did Snowbirds and Townies, New Year's Project, and Pictures of Shorelines, and it was awesome.

Guster's aiight. Also, John Mayer is underrated, IMO. His songs, while sometimes gay, are fairly complex and difficult to play. He was a also a blues prodigy.

I hate pop/punk with such a passion but for whatever reason I can listen to Take This To Your Grave about a hundred times in a row and never get sick of it [maybe because it all sounds the same].
