I am watching the phillies wrap up the game vs. texas... and what the heck is this in the game summary?

- M. McDougall hit for L. Nix
- M. McDougall lined out to right
- R. Barajas flied out to center
- M. DeRosa walked
- A. Torres hit for M. Tejera
- M. DeRosa to second on fielder's indifference

Wagner got put into the game as the closer.

McDougall hit for Nix.

McDougall and Barajas got outs.

DeRosa walked.

Torres pinch hit.

DeRosa "stole" second although the defense didn't care to try and stop him, thus qualifying it as fielder's indifference.

it means he was attempting to steal a base, and the catcher made no attempt to throw him out. Basically, they gave him second base.

This is common when there are two outs, as the opposing team doesn't want to chance making an error at second and put the runner on third. Especially likely if the count is in the pitchers favor.
