Have you got the rest of the hand history?

I always have trouble with these hands as well, especially getting the maximum value for them. I think on the flop I would check, hoping that someone catches a card to give them some type of a hand. In this spot you can't be afraid of any cards falling. Eventually though you are going to have to bet, and it seems like on this hard no matter where you do that (flop, turn, river) nobody is calling you. I am curious to see what other people have to say on how to play this.

Pot bet IMO. A person may limp with 3's or 5's and if the board pairs on 4th st. or the River you may get stacked depending on how prone you are to laying a big hand down and what the opponents are like. For a pot bet there is no way they are laying a set down at smaller limits, and possibly even a hand like Kh J off may see the turn for this price chasing the 2nd nut flush.

pot bet, just like you'd make if you had 55

Bet the pot and when everyone folds don't feel bad.

Here's one I saw in Shreveport about 3 weeks back. The game is 2/5 NL $300 max but it gets deep. My buddy has around $600 and the BB has him covered. My buddy (to my right UTG) limps with black 10 10. I think 3 or 4 call and the BB knuckles. The flop is 10 6 3 all hearts. My buddy leads at the monotone flop with top set. Only the BB calls with A X of hearts. He's got the nut flush! The turn brings another 6. My buddy checks and the BB springs to life betting the pot. My buddy raises him and they get it all in.

I watched my buddy stack his $1200 in chips.
