Checkraise the turn? - that way you let him bluff out if he has nothing or make him pay hard for his draw.

Hell no. If he has a strong hand at this point he's playing back at me.

Most likely though, I think he was on a draw. I wanted him to pay for it. Not giving him a free card to the straight or flush or whatever.

Didn't see how the 9 corresponded to the rest of the board. Yea, a Q or J for free on the river woul dbe disastrous. It's still early on. Take your victories I guess /images/graemlins/smile.gif

This hand ruled so hard.

I thought for about 10-15 seconds before calling preflop. I figured I had set value.

I thought for about 15 seconds before calling the flop. Decided for a stop and go. Put him on high cards.

If he's got anything at that point, he's pushing the turn, and I'm gone.

At this point we are 15 to the money, but that is of little concern, as that is only a $8 profit. 1st place, meanwhile, pays ~$540.

SB I have 22 and ~2000. UTG+1 pushes for 5.5k

Aaaaargh.... hmmmm. SCreams of AK. It gets called in MP and Im gone. It was QQ for the pusher and AK for the caller. Phew!

Folded to me in SB with QT, I push, SB calls with AT, I have Q/images/graemlins/spade.gif when flop comes monotone spades w/ straight draw, but nothing comes through. GG me.
