The whole point of winning is that that person got to choose a funny/gross/degrading avatar for the unfortunate loser.

What's the down-side of losing the bet and then getting a hot chick with a big set of cones as your avatar?

Agreed. But the goal should be to make it funny or humiliating for him every time he posts. If you go too far people will just block the image and it will be essentially pointless.
