Ok, Im pretty new so I dont know how to convert my hands so ill just type it.

I have A /images/graemlins/heart.gifJ /images/graemlins/club.gif in MP2

UTG+1 calls, I call, Button calls and BB checks.

flop is 3 /images/graemlins/heart.gif5 /images/graemlins/heart.gifJ /images/graemlins/diamond.gif

UTG+1 bets $1, I raise to $2, Button and BB fold, UTG+1 calls.

Turn is 9 /images/graemlins/heart.gif
UTG+1 checks, I bet $2, UTG+1 raises to $5, I call

River is 10 /images/graemlins/spade.gif
UTG+1 bets $6, I fold

I have no reads, less than one orbit at the table. Thinking about it now I should have taken a free river but at the time I thought he was playing either KJ, QJ, J10 or a flush draw and I wanted to find out whether he had the flush so that I didnt face a bigger bet on the river with no clue wot he had. Was it correct to call the raise on the turn when I was almost certain he had the flush. The pot was offering me 4:1 ($12 pot, $3 more to call) and i thought there was a good chance I could make $5 on the river if I made my nut flush.

your help would be good, ive never posted a hand before so go easy on me

I fold preflop. Oh well. Flop is pretty good for you. Raise more on the flop. Wait, what limit is this anyway? You need to post the blinds. Anyway, raise more on flop. Bet more on the turn. Calling the raise is fine. If you're sure you are behind, just fold to a decent bet on the river barring a /images/graemlins/heart.gif.

From now on, please include the stack sizes and level you are playing on.

Weak bet on the turn. If I see that bet I'm looking to play you out of the hand. I like the 3/4 bet.
