Dont know too much about villian. During this hand I couldn't stop looking at his name: uberfoo
I know I should have folded...but when?
bad bet after the flop?
check on the turn?
I'm wasnt really thinking but I guess I was trying to scare him away because i was so aggressive pre-flop and he was being passive up until the turn I thought he would fold. I have a bad habit of trying to get people to fold too much; after I start getting sick of playing I always try to push people around too much.
I can't tell if tonight I'm getting raped by the cards or if i am playing differently than usual...

Yes it seems so obvious
I know if doesnt really matter after getting check-raised but I'm thinking he has what at this point?

AA, KK, QQ.

TT is a possibility as well.
Anyway, it doesn't really matter, because any pair is ahead of you right now.

TT often won't get 3-bet out of the blinds.

they'd check-call on the flop with that?

easily in HU and then go for a c/r in expensive street.

Would you 3bet here in the BB?

I 3-bet JJ, and not 99 (most of the time). TT, well, it depends on the raiser and the SB.

Gotcha. And I assume that you are calling with any pocket pair below nines here, because you have the SB to come along too?

uberfoo is a TPA by my PT stats; he doesn't raise enough preflop. Based on that read, you should fold the river.
Check the turn and take the free card.

I don't see anything wrong with betting the turn and taking the free showdown here with AK. It sucks that he got check-raised, but this is an easy fold against most players with an unimproved AK.

Yeah I'd call any pocket pair 22-99 in the BB with SB coming along.

What about pocket sevens after an SB fold. Do you call here? Situations like this are sometimes tough for me, but I usually call and see the flop. If the raiser has AK/AQ and the flop doesn't have any paint then I am usually good and I will bet out or try a flop check-raise.

So what do you think the villain has here?

He could also have AK, but I think that QQ is more likely.

Same here in the hands I have with him. I've noticed in a number of posts people ask what to do when someone leads into them or CR's and they have good stats on them. It would be good to have a post or sticky describing which stat groups may be bluffing at a pot (TA-A), and which a fold could be in order (TP-P).

I don't have my PT in front of me, but I've logged several hundred hands against this guy. I remember enough off th the top of my head to know he's not screwing around. Taking the free card on the turn would have been a good play. The way you played it, I would fold to the check-raise without hesitation.

You guys realize you are sharing data on a player that plays $.50/$1.00?
Okay, okay. Just checking.

Thanks
