My internet connection is on the fritz. I have the cable company coming Thursday. But I'm not playing sets of $55 tournaments to just lose my cash when it fails, so I'm playing cheap multi's until then.

I'm in 9th out of 22 remaining at the Stars 11:30 $20.

What a donk I am.

I'm watching you
No money in Stars currently as I'm doing the Party bonus, so I can't chat, but just know I'll be watching. :P

Edit: Nice quads with the 8's.

In case anyone is wondering, I laid a horrible beat on the BB. I had 88 in the SB, shoved my stack in, and got called by JJ.

Rivered quads.

Those 2 horribly short stacks need to go, bump you up a couple money spots easily.
They gotta push soon anyway. Hopefully they get busted out.

I do care, but I don't have PS downloaded onto my computer. My girlfriend bought me a luckbox for Christmas but it is only valid on PP... /images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Let us know how it finishes, and if you play a game on PP tonight, let me know. I'm surfing 2+2 but after playing one set after work tonight, my brain is fried...

Watching you play this is going to make me deposit so I can play the $20 buy in at 5 am tourney.
/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hang in there man, you can at least finish for $1000+

Go for it.

It's fun, that's for sure.

I've been playing it a lot lately actually. Last time I had horrible luck when my JJ lost to KK and then AK to AA and busted in 40th when 36 paid.

I probably will though, I hate Party's tourney structure, and can't get enough SNGs and Tourneys at stars.

If you're wondering what I just had in that SB vs BB hand, it was 95o.

Middle pair.

Not much.

It was based on a previous read.

Not a big fan of the hand when you raised to $40k and folded after the reraise. Congrats on the big payday.

Ouch
Still a good finish man.
Couldn't have gotten in with a much better hand short stacked.

It was a K9 steal. The all-in gave me slightly better than 3:2. So being liberal it's about an even money call. Therefore, I passed. I was better than everyone at that table, and I'm not taking a paper thin edge.

Thanks. AJ is good enough 5 handed with 7BB. I just hated that he hit his set on the flop. Gah. I even got a J on the river. Teasing bastards.

After the other guy reraised allin there was almost $200k in the pot and you had just over 100k left. Maybe instead of raising to from 12k to 40k you could have just raised to 30k, I think it would accomplish the same thing without making you as pot committed. The fold did end up moving you up a spot.

Well, I wasn't pot committed. I was getting just better than 3:2, as I said, to call. K9 vs his likely range probably had about 35% equity. Especially THAT particular guy, who was a High School Senior graduating today and was rooting like crazy for every big stack on the all-ins so he could move up spots. He wasn't going to risk 3/4 of his stack on a bluff.

Huh. Finished 9th tonight in a $30 625 man tournament. Maybe I'll play some higher buy-in MTTs....

Ty. It's not much money. In fact, these multis combined don't match the many nights I've had playing $30 SNGs. But hey, it's helped my confidence in these.
