Biologists observing the dolphins in eastern Shark Bay saw the animals break marine sponges off the seafloor and wear them over their snouts to probe into the seafloor for fish.

...

"It looks like the animals use the sponge as a kind of glove to probe the [sediments]. It might just give them protection against some noxious critters hiding in there," said Michael Krützen, of the University of Zürich in Switzerland, co-author of the study.

I just thought that was kind of cool.

Cool (as usual).

I'm not sure why the nature-nurture argument still exists. It appears to me that it is both, otherwise "freewill" does not exist.

I saw four baby foxes tonight. Cute little dudes. Three stayed by the den, the biggest was out hunting with Mom. Genetic? Mom only allows him out? I'm sure in a few weeks Mom will take all of them out to hunt, but the little guys just weren't ready yet. Mom learned this from her Mother? How unless she was one of four cubs?

We can't go in the water; Shark Bay was given its name for a reason," he told the BBC News website

That's why I'd choose Flipper over Jaws.
