SB is aggressive and has me covered. He's called a couple of my steal attempts and taken the pot from me on the flop (once raised my continuation bet, the other time I check/folded). BB is incredibly tight. He's been a short stack for a long time and has had his blinds stolen every time.

eastbay's program says easy push, even with the SB set on "loose"

Hmm. Can you double check that? When I use Eastbay's program I get a push (+0.5%) for an average SB and a fold (-0.2%) for a loose SB (and a tight BB for each). So I guess I'm wondering what range people would put SB on.

I had been the cheap leader and was raising a lot of pots. I ended up doubling up UTG and that's when SB started playing back at me. Maybe he just happened to pick up hands on these steal attempts, but he could have gotten tired of folding to my raises and now that he has me covered he's not going to put up with it. That said, this would be the first hand that I'd put all my chips at risk, so he might tighten up now that he can't resteal.

Check: Are blinds 75/150 or 150/300?

Keep in mind that ICM doesnt take into account the fact that there are probably greater edges you can make for yourself in the future.

With more than 10x BB, I definitely dont think pushing is the best play. There are better spots than you can find for yousrself.

Even though I've got more than 10xBB here, I think it's still a push/fold situation. Do you just mean that I should fold because I still have more than 10xBB or are you recommending that I raise a smaller amount?

wait the blinds are indeed 75/150, I'd normal raise and fold to a reraise from small blind actually, might not be the best play but still..
Don't think a push is terrible, I don't like a fold here.

ok so I'm not expert but I don't see why a push here is better than a raise. You're 3rd in ships w/ 2200 and the blind 75/150. You have ALOT of room to work with. I'd much rather go to the flop with an aggressive SB than turn it into a gambooL.

OK, the push/fold Maginot line of ridiculousness has officially been crossed with this thread.

If you think a raise is gonna get called, limp and try to take the pot away on the flop. Pushing with 14 BB left, a LAGgy big stack to your left and JTs is dumb no matter how much you try to justify it.
