Cold-calling from the SB

Is this ever correct? I was watching the stars 100/200 game tonight and noticed people doing this. For me this is usally raise or fold, especially against one open-raiser.

Can anybody throw me some examples where this is correct and the reasoning behind it?

Search the Mid-High Limit archives for a post by Nomar (maybe a yearish ago). The consensus seemed to be that you would only CC in the SB if the open-raiser was overly lagish and the BB played poorly.
