I'm calling this check/calling until the river, unless the board gets scary or the betting goes up. With only 1 over I'll call this bet. I've found a lot of flop bluffers in the 20s that will just check the turn & river.

Of course I've been getting killed on the 20s so this is really a bump in disguise because I don't have a clue.

I'd throw a min-raise out there (min raises scare the bejeebies out of players at the 22s), fold if he comes overtop and fire another barrel (albeit a safe one you can get away from on the turn) if he calls.

This is why I play JJ for set value (limp) early unless I have notes or a previous read. Players are liable to do anything at the 22s and there is no point getting yourself into a guessing game in this situation without a read.

Given the situation, however, I call and hope he slows down on the turn. My money is that he bets at least 200 (as is normally the case) on the turn and I am force to fold. Early game, I play based on past experiences. I assume that all players are bad and group them in into a clump (barring reads of course). Then I make plays based on what I have seen in the past.

I guess I call and fold if he fires the turn.

There's likely a cheaper way to do this.
