View Full Version : A broken mug

So my dad broke one of my favorite mugs. It's a large glass beer mug, that I'm sure has some particular name for its distinct and familiar shape. Only the top part broke, but two pieces chipped off and he's trying to superglue it back together.

My question is this: Is there any particular way to do this so that I can drink from it again? He suggested maybe taking it to some professional place to have the mug safely restored, but I don't know how to go about finding such a service. Is there some protective coating I could purchase at a hardware store to safely coat the thing? It's a hard to replace item from Prague, and I'd like for it to maintain its usability, if possible.

Seems like he should say, "You're 23 and I let you live here for free. Fix yo' own damn mug BIATCH!"

Buy some solo cups.... they r cheap and easily replacable and keg beer tastes great from them

I'd be pretty upset if he got my age wrong.
