I feel really uncomfortable playing pocket 10's-Q's early in a tournament. I know they are good hands but I'm not sure how strong to play them.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t15 (10 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Final Pot: t1645

Sorry don't have history for the seccond one but it was something like this.

Only a few hands in everyone about t800. big blind is t15

Hero in EP has QQ Raised to 50

MP calls 50

LP Raises to 100

Hero raises to 175

MP folds

LP calls

FLOP: J x x pot= about 400

Hero bets 250

LP Calls

TURN: x pot= about 900

Hero goes all in (about 400)

LP calls

Do these hands look alright? Thanks for any help

TT is usually a limp. JJ can be a limp or a raise. I almost always raise and reraise QQ.

The one thing you're doing incorrectly is not betting enough. Raising to t150 over a t100 minraise is kinda dumb. You're not pricing people out, you're giving them great odds to call. You need to reraise to like t225, same with second one, since there's more money in the pot, I'd say t250

And I probably lose my stack here twice too.

Thanks for the reply thats just what thinking I should of done but I guess I am just too scared of KK/AA. /images/graemlins/blush.gif

Just wanted to clear up my first post. Im confident that I would of lost these hands no matter what I did but was not sure how i should approach them/bet them in the future. (AHHH that was REALLLLLY LOUD THUNDER) If my first post came out mad its mostly because my ISP likes kicking me off when Im on the bubble. Losing i can take, giving money away i cant /images/graemlins/mad.gif
