dump it, you're better off using your position to steal blinds then put a battle up here

I think stacks are definitely short enough to call here. And of course, push 99% of flops.

i'd push preflop

Whether you can fold this depends entirely on the player. I could see a lot of people raising here with A2 though, which definitly makes this a call against the average player. Also, I don't see anything wrong with doing a stop and go in place of pushing pf.

Forgive me if I'm mistaken but aren't the chip counts before the blinds are posted? If so, you are only left with 2BB if you fold and 1/4 of that will be in the SB. Doesn't that make this an insta-push on almost any two cards and you're pretty happy you have a hand that is not bad against the range of a potential blinds stealer?

Chip counts are before blinds are posted, and I'd have 3BB after posting the SB.

I folded this hand, but as soon as I did it I felt I shouldn't have folded this.

Folded to the button with the blinds this high he could be raising with a lot of hands but you were there so you should have a better idea as to how he was playing. Even with that being said you will only have 3x BB if you fold this. How was the table playing? I noticed someone said to fold this and try to steal blinds. Well thats an idea but with such a small stack you will have little FE and you also have to deal with 6 others players who may not give you the oppportunity to steal. So you can fold now and try to steal or catch a better hand soon. This is not without risk though. Or you can make your stand now. According to ICM you need to win this 56% of the time to breakeven in $EV. I think its close but I would just make my stand now because if I double up here it makes it much easier to steal and control the table near the bubble. I just don't like playing a short stack with so many people left with such high blinds. Its a gamble either way but I think the upside is much bigger making your stand now.

Button raises to t500

Run.

Which of course raises an interesting question:
Does a < all-in raise often have more FE than a push?

I think you have to push this man. There is a good chance you are ahead and you are running out of time.
