party 3/6 ring game
hero has 1200 behind

picks up red aces in UTG, makes it 24 to go. caller in UTG+1(800) and on the button(1200).

flop KTx monotone hearts. i bet 75, UTG+1 makes it 150, button calls. hero juices it up to 1176 straight.

hero = fish?

yeah...not sure I like hero's move. Maybe if it was heads up, but 3-way I'd be scared of button's over call.

I think that the play is decent.

The only hands that will call this raise are a made flush (and even then, it can't be the nut flush), or maayybe a set.

On the plus side, lots of hands that you DON'T have beat, like two pair or a set, or maybe even a low flush, very well might fold to this bet.

There is a lot of money in this pot (About ~450) and I think it's probably worth taking down right now. I think that you'll almost never be called down, and when you are, you'll have at least 7 outs to the nuts., which will be only marginally -EV.

The only thing I don't like about this is that it lets off worse hands than yours real easy, but with so much in the pot already, it's probably okay.

I'll bet they folded.

why would i be scared of the overcall? is the button really smooth calling a three way pot without the nut flush here?

What's he smooth calling w/ on a monotone board w/ a bet, a raise, AND he's not holding the Ah? Maybe a set looking to fill up, but most likely he's got a made flush. Otherwise he's got an easy fold w/ only 24$ invested.

Your hand seems really transparent. Are most players raising AQs UTG in this game?

You are crazy if you think those hands are folding here.

Admittedly, I don't think that any flush is going anywhere... but it's a possibility for some weak/tight players.

However, I would have a VERY hard time calling all in with only two pair on this board, and almost as hard a time calling with a set of xxx, although, I can't see myself getting away from KKK or TTT here.

i'll raise AQs pf utg sure. i'll raise a lot of hands utg because i am fishy mc goo!

i think it MIGHT be worth to be saying, i raised UTG+1 hand prior, and someone came over the top and i quickly mucked. and very next hand i saw the aces, and raised again.

how does he have a made flush, and is NOT raising that with a likely 3 handed situation and it's LIKELY one of us has an Ah.

Missed the monotone part of the first read.

Decent play. I'd rather wait till the turn to see what transpires and then pop the raise there.

if i call the flop, what's my plan for a heart turn? a non-heart turn? any other special card?

If you are intent on getting your stack in the middle, you dont have to do it now. You could min-re-raise now, and push on any turn card. I think this would scare more than All in now.
