Live 3/6 at Trump, IN. Very loose, very passive game. I'm the only person that has 3-bet anybody at all - and nobody has noticed. If they put one bet in the pot, they'll put in 4. MP in this hand is a friend of mine and is the only one capable of making good folds. He also knows I am the only one capable of folding hands.
Preflop:
UTG limps, UTG+2 limps, MP limps, I raise with JT/images/graemlins/heart.gif, Button calls, SB folds, BB calls, UTG/UTG+2/MP call.
Flop (14 SBs): 8/images/graemlins/club.gif9/images/graemlins/spade.gif5/images/graemlins/heart.gif
SB checks, BB checks, UTG bets, UTG+2 calls, MP raises, I 3-bet, Button folds, everybody else calls.
Turn (16 BBs): 6/images/graemlins/spade.gif
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, UTG+2 checks, MP checks, I check.
River (16 BBs): 7/images/graemlins/diamond.gif
UTG groans loudly, SB checks, BB checks, UTG bets, UTG+2 calls, MP calls, I raise, everyone calls.
Final pot: 28 BBs
In retrospect, I don't know if I like the flop 3-bet. I managed to get the button to fold, which is all I was hoping for, but I really had no reason to think he would based on prior hands. After that, the turn check is pretty reasonable I think, as nobody is going to let me win this pot uncontested and my backdoor flush draw failed to materialize. Finally, the river raise is easy. Thoughts?

Perfect. You must 3-bet this board, but not a board like KQ5 rainbow with a single heart.

Do you say this because my overcard outs may be clean?

Your not going to clean up overcard outs with a flop three bet given the table read and size of the pot. That said I like the flop three bet buy the button take the free card and even without the overs you have quite a bit of equity(32%) and also with the table read its not likely to get capped and it will probably get checked to you on the turn.

3-bet this flop every damn time. You have lots of callers, a draw to the nuts, and no 4-flush is possible. Raise away.

In most games I wouldn't raise JTs preflop, but if it's a table of sheeple like you say, it's OK.
You have the top end of the possible OESDs, which will come in something like 31% of the time, and every flop raise is pulling in money from five people. Hell yes I raise, and I'm delighted if button stays in and/or somebody caps it.
Extra bonus that noone charged you to see the turn even though you were getting the odds for it almost no matter what happened.
It would take 2 suited cards on the flop neither of them matching my hand to make me even think about slowing down here.

I think your maximizing your chances to win by 3 betting this flop. In big pots like this, you need to be esp. agressive. If anyone with a hand like QJ or QT to fold, you have bought yourself outs.
