Without any specific reads on the BB, I'd fold.

The problem here is that with 12BB you should be pushing or folding. The blinds aren't very high, so you could actually fold here and save your chips for level 5.

The 10-12 BB situation is very difficult. I've started raising 2.5 BB in this spot. It should be enough to commit the SB if he wants to play and is easy enough to fold if the BB pushes. There are nowhere near enough chips in the pot to justify pushing this hand pre-flop. I'd push AJ+, and 99+.

Yeah, you should've bet 300. Or 250. Or even 200. Or pushed. 400 was an awful number to choose.

yah i actually started doing the 250 bet also.. its a great idea to throw one or two of those into your games..

but in the long run make sure you do a 2-21/2 bet with monster hands too.. someone might catch on.
