I care about all posts that reference the Yankees losing 20 games out of 20.

Meaningless without comparison. Probably not many teams do well scoring 3 runs or less.

Just comparing to the rest of the AL East scoring 3 or less (I did a quick tally, please correct my numbers if I am off):

Baltimore 5-20
Boston 4-24
New York 0-20
Tampa Bay 5-33
Toronto 5-25

Yes, it does stand out that they have not won any of these games. However, the Yanks seem to be involved in these situations much less than the other teams in the division. Since teams are more likely to lose scoring 3 or less, it's probably more important that a team score 4 or more, whcih the Yankess do more than the division rivals.

who cares...Yankees will be in first or tied for first place by the all star break

And the Yankees are 0 for all the games they've ever played in games they scored 0 runs or less. Or so I've read.

Why equivocate? Just say they'll be in first.

Well, the flipside is that they've gone 28-7 in the other ones.

Contrary to what you may believe, I really don't get much pleasure out of the yankees losing but to think that they can't win even one low scoring game 1/3 the way through the season is pretty incredible.

it is, and its definitely a clear sign as to how poor their pitching is.

This is partly because their starting pitching is awful... and their relief pitchers aren't as amazing as they used to be.

When you rely on offense to win games, you're not going to win many games when you have little to no offense.

This thread has already been re-started in Sports. Stop bumping the crappy Yankees threads.
