the correct play was to raise on the flop, but any raise would basically pot commit you. so the push is good. nh.

If I had a $100 stack or so..... raise his bet.. say make it $20 to go?

I think if you had a $100 stack, then a pot-sized raise would be the play. Since a pot-sized raise here is basically all-in, your play is good.

Yup. What they said. Just make sure you are not always smooth calling here with sets.

Naw I wouldnt smooth call a set here because the board is fairly draw heavy.

Good. I agree that the best play here with a set and with your hand is to push.

This is a dream flop for a short stack. Easy push. If you were deeper, I'd raise the flop and take a free card on the turn. Just be sure you bag your straight flush on the river as it tends to make things a lot simpler.

The only things you're behind are a set or a bigger club draw. Even if you are against one of those, the money already in the pot makes up for most of that.

Coupled with the chance he'll fold to your push and the chance he'll call with worse than the above hands (including stuff like overpairs and two pair), I like it.
