How many total hands do I need for a checkup?

I have around 1,200 hands in PT (which I know is way too low), and it's split about half/half between .25/.50 and .5/1 - my question was does my sample size need to contain say 3,000 hands from each LIMIT or just OVERALL?

I'd say 20000 for something meaningful.
