I had a wedding this weekend, just as the main course was being served. The DJ played Journey's Don't Stop Believin'; you could hear people singing along, before you knew it, about 140 people took a break from their filet, and were all singing along word for word and holding the table candles up, it was so friggin cool.

The moral of the story? Journey rocks SO hard.

2% of the time this is amazingly cool.
The other 98% it is the gayest thing ever.

I love that song. My friend bought a journey CD and me and 2 others were driving somewhere with him and wouldn't let him change the song. He got really pissed, so that makes it even funnier.

Journey does not rock. Don't fall for "Uncle" Joe Benson's propaganda.

This basically sums up my thoughts on the matter:

Who knows the words to that song, other than "Don't stop believing?"

That's what I wanna know.

Journey was on my flight once. I didn't recognize them and I was travelling with my guitar and they also had all their instruments with them so I struck up a conversation and, hey, it was Journey!

Best one for me is ~20 guys in a huddle singing Piano Man. Probably deserves the hot tub pic but hey, what are you gonna do?

Doing some simple math in my head, if 140 were singing along, there must have been roughly 2,500 people there who were shifting in their seats uncomfortably.

I thought the last part of this story was gonna be about you jammin with Journey for the rest of the flight. It should have been.

Family Guy:

Peter's bar is losing money because nobody's coming. So Peter and his friends remodel it (eventually) into a Karaoke bar.

You see Peter's jewish medicine-giving guy w/ the red fro sing a song, and it's still pretty dull. So, Peter goes up there and starts singing the Journey song.

Eventually all 4 join in, and people start coming in the bar. Eventually the bar gets packed.

A funeral home nearby, 4 pallbearers are carrying a casket down steps, one says "OMG that's journey"...

"It is!"

All of em drop the coffin and run to the bar. The coffin slides down the stairs and breaks open, and the wife runs down and sobs...

"Hey, that IS journey!" and she runs to the bar too.
