Tough spot. You probably have more FE preflop though, even allowing for the fact he just limped 1/4 of his stack into the pot, I guess you sort of played it as a stop and go, without the raise from Villain. If you check then you leave yourself open to the bluff. I don't think your line is that bad, I just think a push preflop would be better.

Just want to add that I wouldn't push pf at a higher buy-in, a limp from UTG for 25% of a stack usually means a monster, but at $10+$1 it could just be a donky fish with anything.

At that buy in its a great stop and go of sorts.

If he hit the K or has AA, them are the cuts.
