What a rush...

...I'm a $5.50 player. I've played the occasional $20 and $30 over the course of the year that I've been playing, but probably fewer of those than I can count on my fingers and toes combined.

For whatever stupid-azz reason, I decided to play a $100 heads up match at the end of my session tonight. So unbelievably hard to convince yourself that you've gotta play it like it's a normal game, but it sure is nice when you finally pull it out.

Good job. My little brother just got turned on to the heads up play on Stars and he loves it. He loves playing heads up and seems to have a very good heads up game. I'm kind of hesitant to start the HU, as I am too a 5.50 player. Might give in and try one today though. Is the play that much more aggressive and faster?

Lesson for other dumbasses like myself.

If you award (read: punish) yourself by taking a chance and moving up several levels for one game and win, don't assume you can "beat the game" and do this too mother freaking frequently.

Back to square one.
