It's been a long night of 4-tabling $10+$1, and after about several thousand hands, this is one that I need to get closure on.

Tell me if I did the right thing or not, pat my back, or just yell at me.

Thanks in advance.

well you played this hand wrong from the start. Why didnt you raise PF? You let everyone see it cheap and if you got flushed thats your own fault for not raising PF.

It's level two, 9 players remaining, and I'm UTG.

P.S: I hope this isn't an "anger reply" because I LOL'ed at your thread.

You have AKs.. I dont care what your position is. You raise. You dug your own grave letting everyone in.

I'm ashamed to have replied in your thread, and to have gotten involved with you at all.

I respect these forums enough not to get into any sort of shitfest, so I deleted my replies to your thread. I'm not exactly sure what you're looking to accomplish with your angry and non-constructive replies here; In any case, I've given up on the question, and am going to bed /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Good night.

This hand is so ugly it makes me cringe.

Raise before the flop! Open limping with AK is just ridiculous.

Bet the flop! Automatically assuming someone has a flush because there are 3 hearts on the board is not good play.

If for some reason i've played this hand so horribly to this point i'm definately gonna throw out a raise after the last to act bets the pot.

I pf raise pushes out the 76s that probably beat you.

I also deleted mine.

Now I am giving you what you asked for. An answer to how to play this hand and everyone on this message forum will say you should have raised this PF. The mess on the flop is just that,a mess. Bet it out on the flop. If you get raised then I really have no idea. You are now looking at losing lots of chips for not raising PF.

This is an obvious preflop raise, and after the flop it is still worth a bet. You are scared of two obvious hands, the flush and the straight, which probably would have folded before the flop to a raise. If you get a raise and then a re-raise (which you probably would have gotten here), then you can go ahead and fold while kicking yourself for not raising preflop.
