UTG is 17/12/2.15 over 1500 hands, but I have no table read.

Party 15/30(10 handed)

Preflop: Jeff W is BB with 9h, Qh.
UTG raises, 1 fold, UTG+2 calls, 6 folds, Jeff W calls.

Flop: (6.66 SB) 6s, 9c, 8s (3 players)
Jeff W checks, UTG bets, UTG+2 calls, Jeff W calls.

Turn: (4.83 BB) Kh (3 players)
Jeff W checks, UTG bets, UTG+2 folds, Jeff W calls.

River: (6.83 BB) 8h (2 players)
Jeff W bets?

This river lead always looks donkish to me. You would never do this with an 8 becasue you can be pretty sure TAG will value bet anything he would call with. Also pretty unlikely he calls with a worse hand here (since he knows you are not a loon who is betting this river with nothing). As you played it I would check call the river as he may bluff the river (and maybe he has a weak moment and checks JJ). You really have no idea where you are though since you took such a passive line. I much prefer leading the flop, which should get it HU after the obligatory raise. Then three bet flop or donk bet the turn and go from there. Seems a lot easier to play that way.
