I just call this preflop. The turn is a tough one, but I think after all the calls on the flop you're probably beat.

I think that this is really weak/tight. You might have the correct post flop line, but for the wrong reasons. Raising 99 pf is pretty standard.
I check the turn, FWIW.

I knew I would get a weak tight comment on the preflop line, but against two limpers I think the 9's are best played for set value here. What should be the reasons for my postflop line then?

Against two limpers 99 has a sufficient equity edge to make a value raise. "Playing for set value" is a really dumb reasoning, to be blunt.
When you said "...after all those calls on the flop you're beat" I think that's the wrong reasoning. What do you think might be some better reasons for checking the turn?

Is your equity that great against 4 opponents who could have every over card imaginable? And I don't know why else to check the turn that's why I was asking, lol. I feel like I do have tigh/weak tendencies I'll admit. Advice would be appreciated.thanks.

They've already likely made one loose call preflop, make them make another too. 4-way, 99 is still fine for a raise, and you can possibly push one or both blinds out. You'll flop an overpair a significant amount of time, as well.

Terrible advice.
You can represent a much larger hand with a PF raise, plus it's a bet for value.
With a pot this large, I'd call it down on the river.

I like the PF raise and the flop bet. I think a turn check is in order.

I like the preflop raise. Turn is tough but ...
If their is any point to betting the turn, you have to call the river when an 8 (or lower falls).
P.S. I would not overcall.
