Crummy day in microlimits, so I figured I'd play a tournament for fun.

Weak table, villain is putting all her chips in on about every other hand that she plays since the table became five handed.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (4 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Not that boneheaded, since Villain pushes a lot. But when SB limps, I push preflop. Almost always.

Is this to encourage more straightforward play or just based on the presumption that they have nearly nothing?

Both, but mainly the first. When SB completes, I find they fold to my push at least 80+% of the time.
