Tough. Given the reraise preflop, I probably fold it.

I think my opponents are dumb and loose. I push.

Hmm.

If it were a $11, I'd put them on AXo (fish love wheels).

Now, it might be because I'm a $11er, but I "assume" $22s are better - BUT, I have read that they are no different.

To sum it up -- first of all, I'd protect my JJ with a higher than 3 BB bet UTG+1 to at least make MP players fold their AXo, KQo, QTo, etc. Then, on the flop, I wouldn't check, but bet the pot.

With 685 left, a pot bet would be 35.03% of your stack, although close to 40%, I wouldn't push.

If I get raised, I'd put my opponent on trips, and frankly, this early in the tournament with 7 players remaining, I'd sit back with my 445 and avoid confrontation and a 7th place finish against a straight, backdoor flush, or trips.

when the headline says.. "JJ no read your play" im thinking FOLD it without reading the post.

after reading the post i think you should have bet flop. why check if your gonna call or push anyway. when you play the game you gotta plan what your gonna do in advance.

preflop why call if you already put him on aces KK QQ..do you think you will hit a jack? lol .. you call because you think he could be doing that with AK right. YAH

then on the flop you have what looks like the best hand most of the time.. why check? its his move and if he has AK hes gonna make the correct move of raising here or even AQs.

BET the flop and if you get raised you dont need to ask us what you should have done.. unless the pot odds give you 10-1 fold flop.

IC5, I hate jacks. That being said, I think it's important to recognize that the mini-raise from your raise is very suspicious. IMO, it does not indicate Aces. It more likely indicates AK. Furthermore, the SB call, is just that, a call, further indicating a drawing hand. I think you need to raise a good bit here preflop, and see what happens.

Oh yeah, you have to bet that flop unless you feel confident enough to check-raise and since you're thinking of folding, I'd wager hero wasn't.

FWIW i will call behind here like your JJ with basically any hand that i raised with from 89s-AA.

I would move in here. If I win the pot right now, great. I might even get called by two tens or some other odd hand. I really can't see just calling here with so much money in the pot and a lot of potentially dreadful 4th street cards. I could understand folding here (I guess), but I take my chances and move in with this one.
