Dumb fold?

Was folding the wrong play? I assumed the raise on the flop meant I was up against a set or A/K at least. Pair of Aces with 8 kicker took the pot down. I know I should have both raised preflop and on the flop here

you dont have to rause preflop here, as amatter of fact i often dont.

the flop however, is a raise. you have the perfect chance to thin the field. foldinfg the flop is bad. this hand is hard to read, try to put some effort into your posts.

I think preflop is fine. I don't usually raise here from the BB with so many limpers with AJo. Yeah, bad fold. I wouldn't fold top pair and good kicker for 1 small bet on the flop in a decent sized pot. Call and reevalute the turn.

Yes.
Since you didn't raise preflop, you should definately raise the flop to protect your hand as best you can. I want that field to call 2 bets when I have TPGK.

With so many limpers, checking AJo in the big blind seems fine.

The flop raise should be automatic, though.
