Raising preflop probably standard, I can think of some reasons not to out of position against loose passive players, in a likely 4way pot, but your preflop equity, yada yada.

Flop ugly for you, check/call I prefer.

Flop bet is debatable though I think you may be right about check-call. Turn I definitely check-call.
