Two Scenarios, Wondering How they are handled:
Scenario 1:
Player 1 - 6000 Chips
Player 2 - 1000 Chips
Player 3 - 1000 Chips
Players 2 and 3 both lose on the same hand to player 1. Do they split 2nd and 3rd?
Scenario 2:
Player 1 - 4000 Chips
Player 2 - 2000 Chips
Player 3 - 1000 Chips
Player 4 - 1000 Chips
Players 3 and 4 lose at the same time to either Players 1 or 2. Do they split 3rd place?
Has anyone ever had a situation similar to this occur? I've had numerous occurances of people with different stacks losing at the same time on the same hand. And I've seen it happen in low level sngs when 3 people are allin on the first hand. But I've never seen this happen ITM or on the bubble.
