I don't think I mentioned this before, but...

I LOVE PARTY

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A/images/graemlins/club.gif, A/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
3 folds, Hero raises, MP3 calls, 1 fold, Button calls, 1 fold, BB calls.

Flop: (8.50 SB) A/images/graemlins/spade.gif, K/images/graemlins/heart.gif, A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (4 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, MP3 bets, Button calls, BB calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (6.25 BB) 7/images/graemlins/heart.gif (4 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, MP3 checks, Button bets, BB calls, Hero calls, MP3 calls.

River: (10.25 BB) 3/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (4 players)
BB bets, Hero raises, MP3 folds, Button 3-bets, BB calls, Hero caps, Button calls, BB calls.

Final Pot: 22.25 BB

Results in white below: 
BB has 8c 8h (two pair, aces and eights).
Hero has Ac Ah (four of a kind, aces).
Button has Th 7s (two pair, aces and sevens).
Outcome: Hero wins 22.25 BB.

I disagree. This flop is loaded with draw possibilities, and I want someone to hit a 2nd best hand.

This flop is not loaded with draw possibilities. It's a rainbow flop, and the only draw out there is a possible. gutshot.

Meh bet the flop. Even if someone makes kings full, they aren't going to go nuts with it. If someone did flop a gutterball, you might as well start extracting off of the flop.

I fold the flop. Seriously, it doesn't matter what the hell you do here. I've played close to 50k hands and I've flopped quads twice. You could fold this and you wouldn't even notice a change in your winrate over the long term.

I've hit quads 4 times over 15k hands =O. Reminds me of when my friend had QQ in a tournament, and the flop was QQ6, and one guy went all in with a flush draw. He was thinking of mucking face up /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Betting when you flop the nuts is a behavior thought that could cost long-term. So they're talking about that sort of behavior rather than 'when you flop quads, bet the flop', IMO.

I don't mind letting the villain catch up here, tho. Especially if he folds easily when he misses flops. Knowing they enemy helps.
