Its hard to really recommend this DVD. It is certainly not for everyone. Its called Tomorrow Land: Disney in Space and Beyond from the Disney Treasures collection. This is what it looks like:

This DVD is a collection of 5 pieces done by Disney Studios in the late 50's early 60's (I think) for their Sunday night show. They combine sci-fi with science fact with animation. I am recommending this mostly because, as a huge fan of animation, Mars and Beyond is absolutely amazing. Other reasons to buy would be if you are interested in a 1950's view of the future. If a big blind buy is intimidating, check out the review on IGN - it will clear up exactly what this DVD is. IGN (http://dvd.ign.com/articles/518/518352p1.html). The reason I am recommending this is because my friend asked me to loan him my favorite DVD, and this is it!
