View Full Version : Loose table, on the board trips plus oesfd
PL blinds .5, .5, 50 max
In the BB with Kc 6s 3s 5c
6 limpers, I check.
flop 3c 3d 4c
I check, LAG UTG bets 3, loose passive guy next to him calls, all fold back to me.
I pot it for like 10 more, they fold.
Should I have milked this more? I put the LP guy on a 3 + who knows what else...and i wanted to avoid having him stumble into the FH or bigger flush in a big pot.

You should be happy with those results. If you come at this hand from a holdem perspective it looks like a monster, but in Omaha it is not. If played with you could easily be losing with possibly only 3 outs!
Even a hand like AcQc3sJs has you in pretty bad shape.
i agree, i am pretty much against any type of slow play in omaha unless u flop q's or higher full house. to many people have to many outs to slow play a measily set of threes.
i might not raise it the pot with a strong hand like that, especially if you think your flush draw was good. but you can never complain about taking a pot down.

Another thing about slowplaying a read here a few months back:
In a PL game with deepish stacks, slowplaying is very rarely correct, even with a monster, because by failing to pump the pot now, you reduce your chance of getting paid off big later in the hand (because the bets will be smaller)
Thanks for all your opinions. I still feel like I should have bet out less however. My read is that I was up against something lke this:
6s 3s Kc 5c 453 68.02 213 31.98 0 0.00 0.680
Js 2d Jh 3h 140 21.02 526 78.98 0 0.00 0.210
8s Qc Tc 8h 73 10.96 593 89.04 0 0.00 0.110
Which means pricing them in a bit more with my raise makes sense I believe. But I agree that I have to raise, just whether the full pot is a good idea I'm still unsure about.
