Inlay idea help (with pic for review)

What do you guys think of this???

Does the lack of color bother you?

The only thing I'm set on is using Roman Numerals. So if I want to use the high value chips as something else there won't be a huge 5000 or 1000 staring at you (you'll see an M or a V with a line over it instead)

It will probably look better when the background white is surrounded by colored chips, rather than the white here.

I'm make the lettering fancier in some way- ancient text style or something.

What about a larger coliseum in the center and arching the words "The Coliseum" across the top?
