I'll be in Vegas next week for the first time and I'm looking to play some middle limit (10/20 - 40/80 or so) hold'em. Any suggestions about where I can find good games?

All Vegas Poker.com (http://www.allvegaspoker.com) will have the info you are looking for.

I had great time playing 10/20 at the Mirage. Several rooms advertise mid limit games but never have enough interest from players to actually start the table so don't rely on the lists of poker rooms and offered games you find listed on internet sites to be accurate. Bellagio and Mirage only place I found mid limit running when I was in vegas last January. I am hoping Wynns will be a third venue for us to play mid limit on a regular basis.

I live in vegas and play poker for a second income my advice is mgm grand there poker room is brand new and has 24 tables and they ussally have 10/20 or 20/40 and the players arent that good, but if ur looking for 40/80 the belligo is ur best bet,but suckers are ussally found at mgm and sometimes the mirage.

the mirage has a great 20-40 game. theres a few good players and tags there but even they are far too passive and read hands poorly. play in the evening and there are plenty of fish. the 40-80 is pretty good too usually although i only spent a few hours playin it.

the bellagio 15-30 is super good too. ssh applies perfectly to that game. bellagio had like 4 30-60s too so i presume that they are good games too.

When I've gone to Vegas, I've generally stayed and played at the Bellagio. They have a good spread of games at the limits you mentioned (including $15/30 & $30/60) that have a lot of action and are beatable.

I haven't been to the Wynn or the MGM Grand's new room, though.

Here's a link to a website that has information on the room discounts and other benefits available to poker players at the major Vegas casinos.

Have a great trip and good luck!

The Bellagio doesn't have 40/80, but their 30/60 games are usually incredible.

The Orleans also usually has a 10/20 going most of the time. If you're planning on being here during the WSOP, you may be able to find middle limit at some of the casinos at or near where the tournies are taking place.
