Hi.. It's my first post here, so sorry if something similary has been posted. And excuse me from bad spelling and english in general. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Anyways. We're in the weekly onetable-tournament with my friends with an about 20 $ buy-in. It's No-limit.

I'm heads up with this fairly tigh but also aggresive opponent, and have fought me back to about equal stack size to hi´s, when this hand comes.
We got about 1500 $ in chips each.

Hero is BB with A /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 8 /images/graemlins/club.gif

Button calls (80 $), Hero raises to 200 $, Button calls.

Flop is: A /images/graemlins/spade.gif J /images/graemlins/diamond.gif and 6 /images/graemlins/spade.gif

Hero bets 200 $, Button calls.

Turn is T /images/graemlins/heart.gif

Hero bets 200 $, Button calls

River is 2 /images/graemlins/club.gif

Hero bets 400 $, Button raises to 800 $, Hero calls.

Total pot size: 2800 $

Results in white below:

He turn over J2o and takes the pot with two pairs.

What could I have done to prevent this from happening? I'm still trying to learn this damn hard game /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Um. Bet more on the flop. Bet more on the turn.

Try the single-table tournament forum.
