Villain is a solid, unimaginative player. He plays good cards but he is not aggressive enough with them.

Obviously the river bailed me out. I don't think my turn raise is really doing much. I think I am too aggro sometimes. I raise alot of flops, to get free cards and also legitly. I like to fastplay my hands and rarely slowplay the big ones, because I want alot of free or cheap cards on the turn, and cuz I wanna stack people on 4th or 5th WITH my big hands. I hate it when I get bet into on the turn with my weaker ands, and often get stubborn. I think better than my small raise is a giant raise, but best yet is a simple call. My 3 dollar raise isn't gonna put him off the best hand, I might as well take the cheap card, and depending on his bet on the river aut, but I think I made a stupid raise on the turnnd the river card, check/fold. check/call, value bet. Raising on the turn opens me up to being pushed on, which is a disaster given the odds im getting on the turn. On the other hand, I most likely buy a free showdown, and if not, I can fold to a decent sized bet on the river anyway

I don't like the turn raise. if you had something like KT clubs I can see you wanting to see a free showdown but in this spot I think you are behind and you must hit the river to win, therefore I would just call the turn.

I do like the turn raise if on a blank river and checked to, you bet out 2/3pot to pot.

i raise to 4.5 on the flop, call the turn bet and bet around 60% to 70% of the pot on the river.
